What file formats do you accept for packaging artwork?
DHP Boxes accepts artwork files in Adobe Illustrator (.AI), PDF, and Photoshop (.PSD) formats. Vector-based formats (AI, PDF) are strongly preferred for best print quality.
Artwork File Requirements
- Preferred format: Adobe Illustrator (.AI) with all fonts outlined
- Accepted formats: PDF (press-quality), PSD (300 DPI minimum, layered)
- Color mode: CMYK (not RGB) for accurate color reproduction
- Resolution: 300 DPI minimum for all raster elements
- Bleed: 3mm on all sides
- Safety margin: Keep all critical text and logos at least 5mm from the trim edge
- Fonts: Outline all fonts or embed them in the file
If you do not have print-ready artwork files, our in-house design team can assist with artwork preparation, layout adjustments, and dieline creation. Additional design service fees may apply.
For best results, we recommend providing both the dieline (structural template) and the artwork file separately, or a combined layered file that clearly indicates fold lines, glue areas, and trim marks.
