The customer needed a packaging solution that could protect sushi rolls during transportation while creating a more convenient and memorable takeaway experience.
Traditional food boxes often leave extra space around the sushi, allowing the rolls to move during delivery. Soy sauce and wasabi are also commonly packed as separate items, which can be lost, damaged, or forgotten.
The customer’s main requirements included:

Client Challenge
Protecting fresh and delicate food during delivery is a major challenge for takeaway brands. Sushi rolls can easily move, deform, or lose their presentation when packed in standard rectangular containers.
For this project, our packaging engineering team worked with a sushi takeaway brand to develop a customized cylindrical paper tube package. The final solution improves product protection, keeps condiments organized, and provides a distinctive branded presentation.
