What happens if my packaging boxes arrive damaged?
DHP Boxes takes full responsibility for any damage caused by inadequate factory packaging. We follow a clear, documented process for resolving shipping damage issues.
What to Do If Boxes Arrive Damaged
- Inspect upon delivery — Check the outer cartons for visible damage before signing for the shipment
- Document the damage — Take clear photos of damaged outer cartons and any affected boxes
- Contact us immediately — Email photos and a description of the damage within 48 hours of delivery
- We assess and resolve — We review the evidence and provide a resolution: replacement production, partial refund, or credit toward future orders
Our commitment: We reinforce all shipments with corner protectors, protective wrapping, and pallet strapping to minimize transit damage. In our experience, damage rates are below 0.5% of shipped units.
For damage caused by the shipping carrier (rough handling, accidents), we assist with the insurance claim process. We recommend adding shipping insurance for high-value orders—please request this when placing your order.
